On build 1.0.23-rc2-lucky on my S7 on LineageOS 21 (Android 15) I'm unable to actually add all songs by an artist to a playlist even though it looks like it did until you check the playlist whether previously created or created on the Add to playlist popup screen.  When I check either playlist each one says no tracks.

Ok.  I realized I have coded it currently to only add to playlist by individual track.  The "Add to Playlist" should not be in that scope on the popup options when long pressing an artist or album.  Not to say that it's not valid.  I overlooked the possibility of users adding chunks of tracks via artist or album to larger playlists.   I will get this on my list of to dos.

Realistically I would almost always create/modify playlists in MC35 itself but was doing it in the app for test purposes. This said, I think that more "phone centric" people would tend to use the app to do more library/playlist maintenance than I will.

I did not overlook this as much as I thought I did.  Its been a while since I have dealt with this area of code, but I actually had it already plumbed to to this.  I just had to wire everything up.  Works good for artists, albums, and other collections now.  will be in the update later today.

On build 1.0.24-rc2-lucky even when using my S23 instead of the S7, I can still only add one song at a time to a playlist in my local music library. Can you confirm that you made the changes applicable to local music libraries and not just MC libraries? I ask because on my S23 I was able to successfully add multiple songs to my smaller MC35 library which I have now made read-write to permit playlist manipulation from the app. I just sent you a dashboard database debug log because it looks like the Artist option in the app is picking up the composer tag value; from my perspective there should either be a separate Album Artist and Artist option but if this is not possible, the app should offer users the choice of Artist either calling the Album artist or Track Artist.

@craigmcg1965   Boo...  Sounds like local is not working.  I only tested the JRiver library.  Sorry I will be unavailable to fix things until I get back Wednesday night.  Have a good weekend.
